What is Blackest Night?

It's a DC Comic story arc that ends next month. He's referring to the "Emotional Spectrum" of the Lanterns (ie Green Lantern which signifies Willpower). But really, only about two or three of these Whompers match the specified emotion of each of the Lanterns.

Blue - normal whomper
This is his usual outfit seen on the first book. The vest is destroyed and the bracers are melted down but they were able to fix the hat.

Green - startled
Whomper donned this outfit during his rescue mission of Skyla. He lost the hat shortly after.

Yellow - joyful
When whomper was captured and enslaved he planned for his escape. He was quite happy to get his hands on the one tool that could help him.

Orange - hungry
Whomper was painted to look like a raccoon once. The mask is the same one he wore during the rescue.

Red - determined
Whomper fought a huge demon wearing this suit of armor.

Purple - sleepy/lazy
An outfit worn in book 2. He wears it while training.

Indigo - sadness
Armor from the fox nation of Valgas, which will be seen in book 2.
