I imagine even within the same general specific type of Zawahif every individual has a unique appearance, with such a wide variation in head structures even without all the varieties you might get of individual 'species'. So knowing about the chin whiskers would probably be handy for knowing that you're cousins even if say one you is a 'snake-type' Zawahif and the other is a 'gecko-type' like Maru.
