From Tallest to Shortest:
Barbarian (M) Half-giant Kai of Clan Bonehill - CG
Kai is a young barbarian on his quest to become a man. It has been several months since he abandoned the relative safety of his clan to earn a name and recognition as an adventurer. He is constantly looking to prove his mettle, taking on foes many times his size and strength in his fits of mushroom-paste induced rage. Any attacks against him or his allies are met with a show of strength and, if necessary, mindless violence.
Kai has a long, wild mane of unkempt hair and his cheeks are covered in coarse stubble. Two short ram’s horns prod out of the side of his head. His hairy chest and face are covered in scars and a thick cloak of bear pelt hangs loosely around him so that it doesn’t obscure his scars. An image of a bear, his totem animal, is carved into his right shoulder. He fights with a long, bone spear with a head of mammoth tusk
Wizard (R) Human Kaarlo Salluson - NG
Wizened and wise, Kaarlo spent many years as a village sage in Kesma. When his apprentice took over for him he decided to once again seek out the high trails in the mountains, following clues he’d discovered through years of research.
Half long salt and pepper hair slicked back and ring beard that ends in a braid. Sharp features, high cheekbones. Pointed eyebrows. He has odd-colored pupils and a stylized half-moon tattooed around the socked of his left eye. Wears a long, bulky velvet robe. Long leather vest holds his monocle, pouches and vials. Has a black cowl familiar that perches on his shoulder.
Bard (R) Human Velu Aidenson - CG
Velu’s parents are traders, with roots in Gamleland and Northern Kesma. He grew up mixing and mingling with elves, gnolls, half-giants and humans, learning snippets from all. He especially enjoyed learning foreign poems and songs, reciting them proudly to his father. A friend of his father, a learned half-elf skald named Leoric, offered to take the boy as his apprentice. Velu traveled the lands with his master, until Leoric settled down with the love of his life. Now he journeys alone, joining interesting adventuring parties to learn their stories.
Velu is a skinny youngster, with long blonde dreads that he keeps knotted in a bun. He has a slender face, hooped earrings in his ears and doesn’t grow any facial hair. A braided tattoo, resembling a stag, sits in his neck, partly covering his left jaw. He dresses in a leather tunic and a wolf fur cloak. Around his neck hangs a silver necklace with a medallion depicting an embossed image of a tree, and several leather thongs with short bones and charms.
Fighter (M) Half-dwarf “Dapper” Dirk Taneson of Port Kamprad - LG
Dapper Dirk’s father was a human adventurer. When he grew up, Dirk’s strong, long legs caught the attention of the dwarf girls. He was a strong swimmer and accomplished athlete before he found his place among the village watch. After several years of intense training he became friends with a group of adventurers and left his family to become a hero.
Dirk considers himself, and fights like, a gallant knight and looks the part. He keeps his beard neatly cropped and decorates it with rune-covered beads and shaves his moustache. Two friendly eyes and a regal nose hide under a stern brow and low forehead. He dresses in chain mail armor and a marred round spiked helmet with a nose guard. He fights with a wooden round shield and a hand axe.
Cleric (M) Dwarf Einar Gustavson Redhold of Amskea - LG
Einar never felt comfortable around the forge, often hurting himself during attempts at manual labor. He hovered towards the more spiritual aspects of dwarven life. He was offered an apprenticeship at an early age and learned an impressive repertoire of hymns and stories. Over the years he gained much respect from his peers and grew into a strong, boisterous voice. He then decided that to travel was the best way to spread the word of his god and help others.
Middle-aged but in great shape, Einar dresses in heavy scale mail armor with shoulder guards designed to resemble fire breathing dragons. From these shoulder guards hangs a short red cloak. He abhors helmets, instead choosing to show off his long, curly red hair. He keeps his wild beard studded with copper rings. His eyes are kind, but his eyebrows wild - one is cleft by a scar - and he has a crooked nose and a nose ring. In combat he wields an elongated steel shield, covered in a relief depicting the mountains, and a Warhammer.
Rogue (R) Trow C’Os - N
Utterly convinced of her own skill, C’Os left her tribe to make a fortune selling her expertise to inapt shorefolk. Cares for no-one but herself.
C’Os is slender, with an elongated head. She dresses in a tight leather armor, designed to fit her comfortably. Refuses to wear any jewelry. On land, she wears a hooded cloak. Proud of her people and heritage, she fights with a barbed spear covered in decorate barnacles and a set of slender javelins.
