Remember the FURRY piece I made from construction paper for an art project? One of my classmates liked it so much that he wanted to commission me for a piece like it!
He found the whole idea of furry interesting and asked me to interpret him as an animal. He's a real military buff, so that's why he's got the fatigues and the little airplane. I decided on a beaver 'cause they're diligent and hard working, as a serviceman should be. Plus his body type read beaver to me for some reason. =>
This one went much smoother than my first furry piece. I found an easier way to get precise cut-outs, so there were minimal gaps and overlaps. I plan on doing another piece like this and hopefully taking commissions on them, one at a time. They're a lot of work!
Made from cut-out construction paper, cardstock (as the backing), ink, white-out and a glue stick.
My professor enjoyed it too, and thinks I can get famous doing these, hehe. Josh (the guy who commished it) is going to have it framed and hang it up. I'm so proud. ^__^
