We've reached the second wave of Corona. A time of tension, where even asking someone to wash their hands correctly might hurt someone's feelings.
Currently, I'm also expecting news about construction workers who protest against helmet and safety goggles because they feel offended about their personal freedom. Or firefighters who insist on running into a burning house naked. Or, you know, doctors who want to perform surgeries without a face mask, gloves, coat, nor hood, because anyone's mere immune system is perfectly prepared for anything ever. Let's just go full Middle Age again and trigger a real pestilence already, why don't we? (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Anyway, enough rant about shit that I can't change. Here are my original characters Senanca, Sally, Marvin, and Kevin!
By the way, mafia boss Senanca here would absolutely switch from running an open brothel to offering live webcam porn as a special offer to customers due to distance safety rules. The whole Corona lockdown has historically been peak masturbation activity for our record overpopulation species anyway. So of course business must adapt to that, for record profit! :D Some see lockdown as a problem, others as an opportunity.

I also can't stand it when the young/healthy refuse to weark a mask at all because their immune system can handle it. Do they not realize that the safety rules are about protecting others as well, those which immune system IS NOT good enough to survive this virus?
Haha, thank you kindly! I'm grateful I have the energy to draw things again lately. :>
Oh, lots of people are basically villains in my story, just in their own ways. For example, I believe Kevin is considered neutral/chaotic-evil, while Senanca is lawful-evil. xD Senanca does his thing because of money and power, not compassion.

I went to the supermarket yesterday and saw a bunch of teens my age all wearing masks, lined up properly, and then a bunch of elderly people stacked up in a group not wearing masks. Do people like that think they're immune or something?
Nice post btw, definitely agree with the guy in the bottom right corner. x3

both of our groups (elderly and young) are wearing masks and some of them also don't wear masks... so it's stupidly mixed here... f*ck germany
they only wear masks because they have to... if it wasn't a rule... they wouldn't wear them... :(
i experienced it at my work sadly... i was the freaking only one wearing a mask... and then i got kicked... so now i'm jobless...
cause i was being too honest against the chef that his ruling about the ""mask-duty"" was too shitty...
so my boss is/was a "mask-enemy" to say the hurting truth

Oh no, a Karen is (according to this link on Urban Dictionary) is a stereotypical associated with rude, insufferable, middle aged white women.
I've heard that a Kevin is the male version of that. (Note: there's no Urban Dictionary link to confirm that)

Of course Kevin's an asshole XD
I feel a lot like Sally, to be honest. Not for the crush, of course, but I do have responsibilities towards those I live with. And especially now that people are more and more careless, even going for a walk feels like walking on a knife edge. I want a hazmat suit.
By the way, the problem is asking. It shouldn't be "please wash your hands" or "please wear a mask". It should be enforced by law with harsh punishments. As it WAS, but nobody seems to control anyway.

Thank you for your feedback!! ^-^
And you're absolutely right. Especially with the asking thing, it usually calms most people.
And yes, safety rules is more about others than yourself. For example, my landlord is an old, sweet, widower lady with a beautiful garden that she takes care of. We live in the same building (I rented her studio room as my apartment). So that's the one person I "come home to" because we both have the same entrance door before we reach our home, and sometimes I pass by her when I leave home if she's out in the garden. So I also kinda have my responsibilities there at home, I don't want to carry a sickness home and infect her. ;v; You rarely come across a nice, garden-talented landlord anyway.

Here where I live its mandated to wear in stores and things, and you will still find a person or two (mostly 50+ but sometimes younger) without, even with signs requiring it. I give them dagger glares haha. Most of them look ashamed. I hope. I wear them all the time bc my whole family is high risk. Mostly get delivery and stay away from people.
Good art though!!

Thanks!
Over here it's mandated to wear mask when you use public traffic. Something which they only decided to do now that the second wave arrived :B Attending any parties and traditional holidays, no, but thousands of people in public traffic without masks every day, yes. Swiss logic.
Currently, there are employees which wear masks inside their business and offer free hand disinfectant to use during your visit. And grocery stores have plastic glass between the customer and the cashier, and markings on the floor about keeping distance when you're in line too. And there are groups of volunteers which offer free services where they do the grocery shopping for people who are vulnerable and deliver it to their home's door, which is nice.
Also, in buses, it was forbidden for a while to use the front entrance, to protect the bus driver. Meanwhile you can use the front entrance again (because school is back, and buses sometimes get so fucking crowded in the back and block all other doors, you have to use the front entrance), but you can't use the seats that are too close to the bus driver.
