Bio: Known as the "Moon Eater" in Philippine mythology, the Bakunawa is a colossal serpent-like dragon that is often enticed by the moon's beauty and therefore wanted to keep it all to herself and even devour it, causing perpetual solar eclipses and endless storms across the globe. She was originally the goddess of the underworld, also known as the Tempest Realm, an afterlife dimension having an endless stormy ocean, blanketed in eternal night. It is a world known to eternally torment the souls of the condemned as they are violently washed away in the neverending hurricane. Not much is known about her early life, but it is assumed that she may have been born at the same time as when after the universe was created. Though she often succeeded in devouring countless moons throughout space, including Earth's moon for that matter, her plan has ultimately been thwarted for generations by her eternal rival and moon guardian / protector, Haliya.

Being a goddess, her personality comes off as dominating and arrogant. She is also possessive of the many things she desires for, especially every moon that she gets her claws on. At most times, she gets bored often and neglects her duties in keeping the Tempest Realm under control, going out of her way to steal the moon and cause natural disasters around the world for her own fun and pleasure. She is also very short tempered and would go in a fit of rage whenever she is annoyed, which is shown during her interactions with Orion after attempting to trap him in the underworld for eternity, which proved to be her plan's downfall.

Although she is mainly able to control water, the Bakunawa also possesses a number of powers that surpass the capabilities of the natural world elements. She has advanced psychic abilities which enables her to telepathically communicate with a mass number of people, as well as levitate herself in the air. Though these are the only known psychic abilities at her disposal, gaining possession and devouring any moon in the solar system amplifies these preexisting powers and grants her dangerous abilities such as being able to control storms and hurricanes as well as enshroud entire planets in eternal darkness via solar eclipses. However, these additions are not permanent as they can diminish when every single moon has been removed from within her body.
