Of all of the characters I have in my roster, this dude: One of my oldest cast of characters, was one of the hardest to find a design I was happy with. It first started with his general anatomy and such. However as the years went by, I really wanted to illustrate the differences and point out, that: though similar, Da'Qualians and Komodians are both completely different races, despite being based from lizards.

I decided that, just like how I took inspirations from things I've grown up and loved for Jeffron, I'd do the same for Darkus. When I was a wee little leezord. My dad would tell me stories about the Marvel universe, and the villains and what not. Now I knew what some of them looked like, but the way my dad described them let my imagination go wild. Telling me all these cool crazy stuff they can do. I wanted to implement that fascination I had once more this time into Darkus. Emphasizing the differences between him and Jeffron took way longer than I'd like, but happy to finally find a design I thoroughly enjoy. u v u.

Jeffron was inspired by mainly anime, and some other media. Darkus more so by western media, at least to a decree. I need to draw these guys squaring off again! >:D
