Tusands are very much like human beings, in terms of imagemations, emotions, and problems they face in day to day life. But their eagerness to stay always polite and happy foke, seems to also inspire the humans to do the same. This in time, lessen the Humans destructed problems of things like pollution and hatred, and this motivation had kept both species in check when they change, or take the land from planets they inhabit.


Othang had it better off then David. He had a lovely family. He gotten great grades in school. And he was great at Dragon Fly ball as a receiver. But the reason he join the Military was the same for the Tusand a well for David. They both like using magic, and the laws of spell craft was very restraining for Novices. Othang join the military so he could used spells more freely, however during a routine drill climbing up a wall, he misstep, lost his grip, and fell to the ground, breaking his leg. Since meeting the Human at the local clinic, they found out they have same interest and became friends.


(Note- Othang is introduce at the beginning of the book, but later his role in it becomes less as he is whisk away to another planet after a series of events, for his own self defense training, since Kakiookami could only handle one for now. He will come back in the second book, and will play a bigger role.)
