A painting done as part of DarkEdgeTV's weekly hybrid challenge! This theme was Komodo Dragon/ Orca, and I had a blast with crossing the two together. It was quite relaxing to play with a smooth skin texture, since I've been doing a lot of feathers, fur, and scales lately. I could really hunker down and play with musculature and pose on this one without having to worry about crowding it out with details when I rendered it out. I also recently got around to watching the newest Godzilla film, so I got some kaiju vibes mixed in there, but I think that changed it for the better in the end.
