Ranger Zenith Tricolor flew as quickly as he dared over the charred and blackend landscape below, the distress call from the firejumper team below had only gone out minutes. He had been one of the few witnesses to the greatest firestorm anyone had ever seen, sweeping down across the hills and washes below.
He should not have lost track of the team from his high vantage point on the wing, but the situation had changed from bad to worse all too rapidly. He had to find the team and get the call out for their rescue, he had to find them...
