This is the picture I spent the last few months working on. I think this is one of my best pieces to date. I took a long time with it and was very careful.
Nathan Lane, a very talented, charming and witty actor and stage performer provided the voice for Timon in all three Lion King movies, as well as half of the Timon & Pumbaa cartoon show episodes.
This was created entirely with a drawing tablet, while studying a photo of Nathan for reference. After drawing him, I added the sweet little meerkat.
When it was done, I went to a printing shop and made several high-quality prints on the best paper they had. Last night, I went with my father and my mate to see him perform on Broadway. And with a combination of luck and planning, I was able to meet him after the show and give him a copy. It felt pretty damn good. ^.^

The only times I'd given a celebrity some creation of mine were original anagrams - such as the one I'd given to Soupy Sales. (See the photo of him and I - with said anagram - in my gallery.) The best anagram I'd ever created for celebrities was the one I'd made for Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding (a.k.a. 'Bob & Ray'). Rearrange the letters in BOB ELLIOTT AND RAY GOULDING, and you'll get LONG TALENT BY GLIB RADIO DUO! A few weeks later, I'd received a personal thank you letter from Bob!
