After a hot muggy day, you can make it through the cold night by snuggling up with a massive dragon. You can run your fingers through a mane of hair, massage massive muscles, or just lay your head on a big soft belly all the while a long serpentine tail wraps around you and gold eyes gaze upon you. It's either one awkward creature encounter or the kind of stuff you'd fantasize about when alone in a cold bed.

I don't know; one of the reasons why I strayed from the dragon stuff was because of all the negative stereotypes associated with them within the furry fandom; rampant egotism, general lack of creativity, and the Mary Sue levels of dragons. There was also just personal reasons too, such as not really feeling the whole western dragon vibes of killing and eating humans, hoarding stuff, and being power hungry. Eastern dragons are far less aggressive, don't hate humans, and tend to not pointlessly hoard stuff... I mean I decided on a snake fursona because it was my animal in the Chinese Zodiac anyway, and it's easy to convert a snake into a dragon... Also just drawing the wings all the time is a bit of pain on my limited schedule.
