Mdogo the honey badger is the first animal most people meet when they get to Tame Camp and the only one with a full command of human speech. It's easy to think of him as a mascot but he's more of the camp guide, and while he sometimes sleeps in a padded bed in the office he's no pet.
He was leading lovers (and meals) to his massive mistress long before Tame Camp existed. He learned to speak to humans expressively so he could get a few of them into his predatory mate's hungry maw or sex.
These days he tends to set up less dangerous liaisons. Mostly.
So if you just want to "visit" with an animal, he's the one to talk to. He knows everybody...including the animals who will happily eat you if that's what you want.

This isn't the only video like this, either. Giraffes also have remarkably long, muscular tongues. 83

Wow, that is a factoid I did not know, that is very interesting to be honest. Hmm that opens an interesting question then, do giraffes in Zootopia buy bones at corner stores like snack foods? If so where do they come from?
In all honesty though that is a really cool fact there, giraffes are really fascinating animals, nature is amazing. Also Mdogo is a cutie! Also my system just said Mdogo was spelled wrong, it suggested Slumdog, just thought that was kinda funny. o.O

There are Rules at the camp and he’s one of the ones who explain them to people. It’s legal to go there to get eaten (they like you to fill out some extra paperwork, obviously) but I hadn’t really thought about people bringing pets or other animals there to be eaten. I’ll have to think about that.
They wouldn't actually need to bring them to be disposed of, but some people do take their pets everywhere and since there have been cases of people getting eaten even if they didn't intend to... Well, someone needs to look after those critters completely unsuited for life in the wild. And who knows, a bit more capable female might even manage to stick around for a while to keep company for the old Young.
I imagine rules regarding other animals would be fairly loose. The first thought I had was that someone could bring an animal to barter.
IE: "I know most lionesses won't want to spend the whole weekend with me at all even without me asking them to put on a schoolgirl outfit first. . ." *pulls up a cart full of pigs* "But I am prepared to bargain."

His mistress doesn’t hold him in very high regard. While she does let him mate with her she barely feels it due to the size difference and of course due to the fact that she can unbirth entire people thanks to her elastic pussy. He’s little more than a friend and other honey badger lovers of her have been sucked in and digested but Mdogo is smart and really useful. At this point he’s essentially a camp staffer and his many lovers, which his ‘mate’ doesn’t mind as she has many as well. He’s still around to guide other lovers and meals to her and that’s all she really wants.
Not sure what this particular setting is like, but I do have to wonder how the critters of the Tame Camp would react to repeat visitors... Of the sort last seen disappearing down someone's gullet. Not sure if this is similar in setting to that one beach where people seem to show up again at times.
