It's been a long day, waddling too and fro as i'm still getting used to having Kio lodged up as my "bellymate". I've been heavier before but it certainly doesn't help with my speed nor energy as I make my way around town, various chores to do.

Along the way, my belly suddenly let's out a low grumble at first as the scent of cooking hits my nose and it's not long before I realize i've done wandered by the local buffet place, it's been awhile since I visited them since usually i'm too far away to walk all the way here and man was it starting to smell good... "Go on... I know you want to." A voice in my belly says, this catches me off guard, my own belly talking to me now?! What next? But I was quickly reminded that it wasn't my belly doing the talking, but the one who was inhabiting it.

Kio's head soon pops out from my naval as he turns to look up at me with that toothy grin of his. "It doesn't take much to realize that you're hungry after a day like this. So, go on, you need you something to keep you going!" The rest of him soon follows as he steps out yet keeps his tail firmly attached to me as he pats my belly. "Now me and you both know that you're only halfway home now and you've only had those few pizzas. There's no way that could have filled you up..." My belly rumbles again, louder this time as it seems to agree with the slime dragon about that. "But, like you said, we're already half way home and..." Kio shakes his head, "And it's still a good ways away! Come on, you must be famished doing so much today and even carrying big ol' me around! You were planning on eating soon anyways, right? So why don't you take a load off those hooves of yours and have alllll the food you can eat?"

He was right, I was starting to feel tired and my stomach must be running on empty by now so the sounds of a few large plates of food did sound like it would hit the spot right about now. It didn't take me long to decide. "Errm... alright, we'll rest up here for a bit then straight back home." Somehow, Kio's grin seemed to become even wider at those words as he gave my belly a little squeeze with his forepaws. "There ya go! Rest up and eat well! It's all you can have so don't worry about overloading those plates, eh? Might even get me something for later." With that, he climbs back into my belly, it sagging heavily with the slime dragon returning to it and I start towards the buffet. Though I swear as I approached the door I could hear, and feel humming from Kio and a thought crossed my mind. Was I being too trusting to this slime dragon that I've only known for a little bit? ...nah, he seemed to care for me at least a bit with such a suggestion. Maybe he really was looking out after me like he said before, a "good bellymate" . So squeezing my way in, I have my mind set to having all those ribs i've been hearing about...
