[[NOT MY ART]]Igmas, Sun Scaled Tyrant
Igmas the Sun Scaled was Firaak's first monarch. He established the kingdom of Firaak after conquering and exterminating the humans that once ruled its land. From there, he established an army and began systematically conquering the other human kingdoms and cities. Most were wiped out, but the remaining were enslaved. Much of Firaak's capitol city was built on a foundation of human slavery and blood. Not content with having conquered the entire planet, Igmas had his scholars study powerful magicks that allowed them a spell to travel to different planes or realms of existence. Two more planets fell to Igmas's army and were enslaved. With power now going to his head, Igmas sought another realm to conquer. He came upon the continent of Altreak in a far off land. The region was home to an unusual resource: crystals capable of storing raw mana energy. Convinced he needed such an advantage, Igmas set off to conquer Altreak as he had so many other kingdoms. He would have succeeded, had an archmage of incredible power not foiled him in a last stand. Danathius Aers defended his home and its people, and drove the tyrant king back to Firaak single-handedly.
Dealing with both his defeat at Altreak and the loss of his mate and queen, Vastril, Igmas quietly ruled from Castle Firaak until Astrix was old enough to act as his proxy. Igmas fled Firaak, going to an undiscovered plane and cutting himself off. He returned 200 years later to officially pass his crown onto his son. His last act as king was the abrogation of human slavery in Firaak.

Igmas definitely starts off as an evil, cruel dragon. But those around him teach him to be better, and though he resists at first, the idea finally sinks in, and ol' Igmas realizes that fear and aggression aren't the answers he thought they were.
But yes, I love him in this style and he looks absolutely amazing. :>
