We all know slings for throwing rocks but since i was fishing with friends i got to use a "Boilie Thrower" - its like an Atatl for pellets made from a hollow and bent tube.
A boilie btw. is pressed and flavored bait-pellet of fishmeal and protein. Used with a Thrower they fly rather wide thanks to the Magnus-effect.

Now some people tried these throwers with marbles and they do pretty good damage - so i came up with these more medieval phantasyish desings as weapons.

The left one is a very simple version made from a boiled and bent piece of bambo with a slot for the pellets and just some very simple letherwrapping.

The right, more snakey, one would be made of a thin copper pipe and a wooden spine which widens into a carved rattler like handle.
