First of all, I must apologise to
Little-Wolf, for the poor way in which I treated the tail she made for me (I know I commissioned it, but it's still not great to see your creations handled badly), it hasn't been fit to wear since about July/August last year.
To replace it, I decided to make my own tail. It would make like Andrex and be soft, strong and long. It has a lightweight spine for realism and stiffness (if you want to know how I made it you'll have to ask me VERY nicely), the angled tip of my fursona's tail and is long enough to show beneath my favourite coat. It has a built-in belt that can be removed with some effort if need be. The fur is removable for washing (normally held on by the belt) and is high-quality yet cheap, being sourced from Zebedee Fabrics. It is easy to wag and it was meant to be able to curl upwards too, by means of a string-pull system, but that has yet to be made to work.
I also modified an old pair of trousers to have a 'tail sleeve' as described in so many furry stories. The drawstring is an optional extra.
So, tell me what you think, and if you're interested in having one made this way of your own I might add furry accessories to Vulpine Designs Unlimited's capabilities.

The seam is on top for practical and social reasons. 1: I don't want people freaking out (or laughing) because they can see my underwear (need a rolling-eyes emoticon) and 2: pulling the trousers up with the tail already on is easier than trying to thread its belt through this way.
I don't really know how to sift my way through the masses of smut fiction there. Is it really worth it?
As for writing, that would make us a fairly even match! I'm not writing too speedily either. Ah well, that's what happens when you're so involved in this RL thing. It's addicting, more than WoW
