It isn't entirely Hawke's fault, Rush not being honest with her or herself is part of the problem. Don't forget, Rush was prepared to go back to him. Maybe if Rush was honest in the first place, she would have just been mad & confronted her (or him at the time), instead of running away. Then she may have found out about the trick, & avoided all of this.
But I hope they can save her (& the rest of their team) so they can sort all this out. Instead of them failing, & have Rush as an enemy for too long, until they eventually save her.
