August makes me introspective. Maybe it's cause the hustle and bustle of summer activities starts to get quiet. June and July was always my time as a kid to go running around the neighborhood with my friends, and in August the family would take our vacation. Also those dang "Back to School" ads come out this month as a reminder that summer is coming to an end. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a summer bun ~ If I could freeze one season in time, this would be it. And being propped up against a tree relaxing with the bear I love is just about the best way I can think of spending these hours.
