PeeWee's playhouse, that was a bit stupid as well. Miss those Saturday morning cartoons in the 1970's

PeeWee's Playhouse came out in the late 80s. I own both box sets cause they were so off the wall and goofy. Plus a very young Lawrence Fishburne as Cowboy Curtis and Phil Hartman as Captain Carl and Gilbert Lewis as the King of Cartoons were regulars on the show. And Cyndi Lauper sang the theme song!

Wow, never noticed Phil Hartman in that. I just remember someone pulling a horrible prank involving a PeeWee Herman talking Doll and a Freddy Kruger Talking Doll at the Toys R Us I worked at in 1989. They switched the dolls in the boxes and sealed them. Had some grandparents come into the store all upset, said they had bought PeeWee for a grandchild and the damn thing scared the kid. I open the box and did a double take. Got them the right item and had a laugh afterwards. Had a feeling the overnight crew did that one

Well at least it wasn't Pickle Rick Surprise Looking back at my social science classes and psych classes, I'm trying to figure out how a guy in pickle make up and really bad false eyelashes can cause nightmares... Then again my baseline for stuff to cause nightmares is pretty high - 1980 - 9 months of watching my brother die from Leukemia and seeing a lot of other folks pass from cancer at the hospital - that's my nightmare fuel - more of PTSD thing that hit me before I turned 16

ironic really a scientist discovered a cure for leukemia (my grandmother died of complications of it) is Marijuana. The scientist did a thirty-year study to find an enzyme in the THC of Marijuana that keeps you from getting Leukemia. Everything you smoke causes cancer, so you eat it. The study ended in 2003 twelve years after my grandmother died.

A year later MIT scientists finished a twenty-year study that found the same enzyme keeps you from getting lung cancer, even if you smoke it.

Breathing air and anything you eat causes cancer, only two things don't marijuana and water.

My grandmother raised her sisters and brothers when her parents died in the 1900s, then raised my Dad, then raised her brother's kids, then more kids of her cousins when they abandoned them, then raised my eldest sister when my mother refused to let her live with us, my Mom was the second marriage. Grandma raised everyone, I took care of her after her second husband and my father died. I saved her from drowning when I was eight in Fort Lauderdale a wave knocked her down and she did not come up (1963) she lived until 1991.
