I've been in a weird mood lately, trying to get ideas out of my head on multiple fronts- figuring out if I'll ever have a set fursona to call "home" or if I'll just be a shapeshifter bouncing between ideas but staying female more often than not, trying to come up with ideas for D&D characters for future games I may never get to play in, and so on and so forth. So, to help me try and clear the clutter from my brain, I enlisted the help of my good friend amara_burrger, and essentially told her to "go nuts" with some headshot sketches/concepts.

Needless to say, the results were fantastic
Personally, the fox (I thought she was a wolf at first XD) is probably my favorite of the anthro/furry ones, with the cow/minotaur being a close second. Amara took some liberties with her, obviously, drawing on the fact that I'm a huge fan of the Eberron setting and a massive nerd, lol XP. Of the three D&D concepts on the right, one was Amara drawing me as a dwarf (which I might revisit later as a Dndsona), followed by a Goliath Bard (College of Valor) idea I'd had for playing a Dawncaller at some point in the future, while the half-orc is my Circle of Dreams Druid that I actually got to play in a Descent Into Avernus campaign a while back, Brakka Wildsong. She was originally a human whose town had been ravaged by gnoll worshipers of Yeenoghu, and was resurrected as a half-orc via the Reincarnate spell by an orc archdruid and welcomed into her tribe, a mix of orcs, half-orcs, and humans. She ended up adventuring after the tribe was wiped out by a Tanaruuk (an orc tainted at birth by the Demon Lord Baphomet), swearing to fight even and ensure the Wildsong Tribe's name ascended into legend. She survived the campaign and went on to re-establish the Wildsong Tribe, have three beautiful children, and become an archdruidess in her own right- even earning a moniker among her enemies, "The Witch of the Earthspur Mountains."
She also got the party some information in Avernus by offering some weed and a Pipe of Smoke Monsters to Baba Yaga (the Mother of All Hags) as trade, and the whole party ended up sitting around and smoking a bowl with her while she told us what she knew, which is one of my favorite memories from that campaign XD
I love how Brakka turned out here, she looks so good in Amara's style. Overall, this was a fun exercise, and it really helped me get some of my thoughts out of my head. I'm glad I was able to hang out with Amara and get these worked on, it was a lot of fun, even if my brain didn't want to cooperate and I had to struggle to decide on what I wanted to have her draw.
