yep, he had a few cameos early in the comics and on the rare occasion today, Astal for the Sega Saturn... the artist Spaz is a fan of the game.

I STILL HAVE ASTAL! It was a damn good platformer. Still is dammit. I pop it in my Saturn from time to time. Between the Virtua Cop, Mighters Megamix, and Panzer Dragoon.

wasn't it great. i hate that it didn't have any sequels.

I'm actually kinda mad this guy never got another game. To this day, I believe Astal had the best soundtrack.

It's also the only Saturn game I hung on to that wasn't a fighter.

man, I freaking love the soundtrack and the simple, yet amusing gameplay mechanics...damn shame he never had a sequel...or hell, a mention in the Sega All-Stars racing game
