I've had this guy thought up in my head for a long time, and working with the talented artist and good friend  subject0798 we were able to finally get him down!

Cal (for short) is a super advanced machine prototype built in the far off future, who's company was dismantled at Cal's hand after they attempted to hunt him. His true form is a dark mechanical mass of tentacles, partially seen on his left hand here with a sword he formed. He is a shape-shifting sentient horror, and can take on almost any form, be it animal, person, or inanimate object. He most commonly takes the form of the man in the suit you see here with the large toothy grin; A look he created for himself rather than some copy. He wraps his tentacles around themselves to create limbs and shifts colors and patterns to disguise his true self. All of the red dots, are eyes.

He can eat and digest almost anything as a power source, and merges it with himself until it is consumed making him temporarily and proportionally larger until the added mass is burned off as energy. Meaning, he can grow as large as he wants, as long as there is enough stuff to eat to make him that large. On the other side of the same coin; If food is scarce and he needs energy, he will burn himself down and shrink overall to stay alive, until energy sources are found and he can eat back up to his normal size.

He has the ability to jump dimensions as well as time, however it is very taxing on him, can be unpredictable, and is largely energy consuming, making these occurrences rare.
