A flower-clad portrait of Midnight Measure, which hangs in the foyer of the Measure family manor. A woman devoted to advancing the sciences of chemistry and alchemy, Midnight nevertheless holds an equal passion for the violin, and aims to bring pride to her family name. Though often coming off as cold or distant to others, the gentleness of the young mare's heart is captured in her eyes, which reflect an earnestness she carries into every undertaking.
Midnight's female appearance was inspired somewhat by female scientists from the late 1800s and early 1900s, such as Marie Curie.
