We spotted a Skip-Glider off our port side today, about 20 degrees off our center line. Maybe it was a deliberate recce or maybe he just missed us in the black. Those skippers gotta plan their course well ahead, most of their maneuvering capability is gone when they're actually out of the atmosphere.
We probably just caught him at the wrong spot in his arc. Either way he hit atmo and dove hard in, trailing a little stream of piss the whole way probably. We didn't send anything after him, we were gonna be seen at some point.
You don't park a few kilometers of interstellar battle ship this low in a planets orbit and expect to stay hidden.
