Despite being heavily augmented, TA1L5 has little knowledge of cyberware and made extra sure that her body is maximally insulated from the system and almost impossible to breach in. She is a combat specialist, with variety of specializations, though high-caliber pistols remain her personal favourite. TA1L5 is also a stealth expert, though, due to her tech illiteracy, requires outside help for infiltration missions.

Esmee was an ordinary corpo grunt, but worker evaluations found out she was a promising candidate for better position. Ambitious woman agreed to participate in a program and through rigorous training became corpo agent known as 'Kathy', with callsign 'Swift'. With corporate arsenal and training she carried out multiple successful missions, but unfortunately got involved in internal politics, earning a bunch of enemies inside her own corpo that were seeking for a chance to remove her from the ranks. Thankfully she also earned friends that would make it hard, but, unfortunately for Kathy, not impossible.

She was chosen as an appropriate operative for a high risk hit and, though allowed to refuse to carry it out, she was pressured into accepting it. It was tied to a huge reward, but also meant an end of her career and serious, irreparable damage to her body. Swift was surgically turned into a pleasure drone, with blockades implanted into her brain to safely infiltrate a safehouse her target was residing at. Hidden timer released the blockades already inside the spot and Swift managed to improvise a weapon, not only carrying out a hit, but also letting out own frustration, turning the whole place into a bloodbath. Making sure that a safety switch was in place beforehand, she had no issues with having the corpo to remove the neural blockades safely before releasing her with a huge parting check.

Esmee almost immediately blew half of it on augmenting the shit out of her, now comically disfigured, biological body and then spent the rest of it on drugs, pills, pleasure houses and anything else that made her temporarily forget the horrors of her change. Being trained corpo agent she had no problems going pro and with her augments she landed some prime mercenary contracts easily. But with her expensive lifestyle opportunities could never come soon enough and Swift started to be followed by debts - debts, that were meticulously collected in single pair of hands.

Her creditor approached her with an unusual proposition. Swift was okay with using some specialists from outside, but always worked alone on the ground. He required someone with her talents to be in a group he created and instead of luring her with cash, which never worked with Swift, he promised to forget about the debt. With little choice left she agreed and quickly met with the other two mercenaries, who both disliked her instantly, especially the purist bear. The other one was unaware that Swift recognized him as a corpo agent from her previous life and, when he went forward to 'scout ahead', she managed to warn the bear about their companion. Surely enough, they were led into a trap, but thanks to Swift they were ready and managed to break through into facility, carrying out everything they could hold to and demolishing everything else. Hiding underground she got close with her companion, sharing her story and changing the way he viewed her. After they finally managed to contact their employer and plot extraction, the two decided to create Heads&Tails Duo, changing their aliases and working together ever since.
