Hazel has always wanted to go to a convention but is afraid of being seen or being watched (by who I don't know)
This was drawn in a much more basic art style so I can make these without massively pushing back release dates for the main comic
So we've got: flat colors, lower resolution lines (I drew the comic all together on the same image file vs separate image for each panel), less editing passes, and minimalist backgrounds

I've been to two Star Trek conventions and one Sci-fi convention. I guess the dealer dens were the best part for me. At the Sci-fi convention, I won a Star Trek trivia contest and was presented with a blister pack of three ships from one of the series. I'd love to go to a "furry" convention but there ain't one near me. The closest one is in Orlando. We have a comic convention on an island about 5 miles or so from my home in December. I may try to go to it this year.
My friend has Asperger syndrome. She works out of her house 4-1/2 days a week. The fifth day, she has to drive to the office for three or four hours to meet with clients ("Yuck!") and pick up and drop off assignments. She is an architect and does 3D 'fly-through' animations of buildings that don't exist yet. She is also an artist, mostly acrylics. Natural scenes and a few portraits. She asked me to accompany her to an opening and sale at art gallery; I didn't know she had about a dozen pieces there.
A few years ago, she dragged me to photograph a parade in a nearby city. She hates crowds; her therapist told her to do it. I think she actually enjoyed it. My girlfriend is a therapist and desperately wants to meet her, since Asperger's is rare in women. I've dealt with a person with Asperger's all my life -- I live with my middle brother, who has been relatively successful in dealing with it.
