He's a little dopey, regrets his carnivorous instincts, but has a heart of gold deep down inside.

This is Grey, a somewhat important character from my story, A Friend Indeed. As described, he's somewhat of a comical character, but certainly doesn't start off that way as Florel and Dew nearly meet their end at the hands of this hungry Mightyena trying to provide for his mate.

Of course he turns out to be pretty cool in the end, despite their earlier encounter. That's why I wanted to draw him!

Unfortunately I am quite lacking in the ability to draw canines. It's just not really what I do, so this is sort of practice. The first sketch I did of Ena (Grey's mate) turned out absolutely atrocious, but that, too, was practice. This I will at least accept as satisfactory. And yeah, I know those back toes look a little off. ^^;
