Iris Weston
Age: 26
Species: Timber(Gray) Wolf
Occupation: Private Commercial Farmer
Summary: Iris is a mature young woman who grew up in an urban environment, but gave up city life in hopes of escaping her immense depression. She found a new purpose in life caring for a small farm, where she discovered her knack for growing crops.
Personality: Ms. Weston is a very softspoken, task-oriented person who has difficulty dealing with strangers. Living in a smaller town has helped her work through her introversion, but she still has a hard time working up the courage to start a conversation. Contrasting this, she is the type to go far out of her way to do favors for those she does know, even at times to the detriment of her own finances or health.
In short, Iris can be described as a timid natured introvert with a generous heart.
Likes: Her Farm, Her Family, Rainy Days, Fishing, The Beach
Dislikes: The City, Yelling, Being Disrupted, The Desert, Crowds, Being Put On The Spot.
Iris was born and raised in a city, where she and her family made do with little. At a young age, her mother left her father for someone else, leaving her and her two younger siblings without a maternal figure. Without a mother of the house, Iris was forced to mature quickly and take care of her brothers while her father worked. Her grandfather, now passed, came into her life when she was around 10 years of age to help ease the burden. Because of the rather stressed conditions of her youth, Iris grew very close to her family members, and was somewhat untrusting of outsiders.
When her brothers were old enough to be managed by their grandfather, Iris started working part time to help support the family to the best of her ability. She had taught herself to be quiet and do what's best from a young age, making her an exemplary employee at the detriment of her own happiness. Because of her commitment to working and never complaining, she was able to move on to a better job fairly quickly, and again beyond that. By the time she was nearing her 20's, she was working in an office as a secretary for a rather high-ranking person.
Iris remained at this station for several years, trapped in a stagnant rut with no life outside of working. By this point, her brothers were out in the world getting their own jobs, but she had grown so accustomed to working day in and day out that she had no idea there even was a world outside of employment any more. Eventually the taxation on her mentality reached a head when she received a call from her father at work, explaining that her grandfather had passed. This was the first time she had to leave her work early in over half a decade. Utterly wracked with depression, she was suddenly faced with the concept of mortality, and realized she had never had any chance to live for herself.
It was then that she was given notice that her grandfather had left her something in his will, the deed to a plot of land in a small town on the other side of the country. She was afraid of making such a big change in her life, and considered declining that deed, but ultimately the idea of having a chance to start over and be her own person won out, and she managed to work up the courage to leave her job, heading out into the rural countryside to start anew.
When Iris arrived at her new home, she quickly realized how different life was going to be. She wasn't anywhere near her family and more, and this town was small enough that everyone knew one another by name for the most part. For the first few months, she simply kept to herself and established her farm, working hard to clear out the debris ridden fields and plant her first crops. Luckily, she seemed to have a knack for field work, and her slender form grew more toned and hardened with each passing week.
Nowadays, Iris is a welcome member of her community, seen as an example of what hard work and dedication can really do. Her farm is thriving with acres of healthy crops, and she lives comfortably in her cozy, humble home. Making big decisions still scares her, but there's not a day that goes by where she isn't grateful to her family, and to herself for working up the courage to start anew.

Well thank you very kindly for pointing her out to me, she is really a cutie. =^.^=
My sabertooth sona and her would get along rather nicely I think. Also being that he is 6' 10" 300lbs, she would look rather dainty next to him. Would definitely be interested in rp, and/or putting them together in some pics. ;3
