Steam is a shy Charmeleon that has a bit of a nice guy syndrome. Always down in his luck when it comes to relationships, the dejected Charmeleon often comes home to his younger brother, Smoke, as well as his supportive mother. When she leaves for the evening, leaving Steam alone to talk with Smoke, Smoke surprises his older brother when he says a few things that make even his older brother react with amazement. What started as teasing turned into a serious suggestion, but, alone in the cave together, will these two brothers' bond reach a new level?

Yeah, okay, I know I'm writing a bazillion things right now. I swear it's probably the worst time to start up a new project, but this one is mostly a quickie starring these two. It was actually what I worked on the other day to cap off this month's 30k word goal (I was about 4.5k off, which wasn't enough for a chapter of anything, really...).

This is gonna be a really cute story when it's done, but here's a preview of the cover art that I'll use for it. X3
