IT'S DONE!
A quick update for everyone who kept track: my therapist stuck to her word and gave me my much needed diagnosis after 3 sessions as promised, thanks to you I can now move on and take steps towards getting the meds I need. Thank you so much!

Thanks to everyone's help I was able to cover 2 sessions with the therapist I needed and things have been pretty good! I can also confirm each session costs $97 (rounded up for taxes).
More importantly, the therapist told me she can give me the ok for the meds I need next session! Hell yeah! Once I have that note pretty much everything else will be covered by my insurance, which is great.
Also a reminder: I have savings and will be going to therapy even if I can't cover all of the expenses beforehand, this is mostly because I really don't want to be dipping into my savings, especially now that I lost my tutoring income (thanks covid). So I'm just saving up for one more session, one last stretch!
