Commission I got a little while back from Tazi-san over on deviantart (deviantart/risenart).

These are my two little girls, both adopted by one of my friend's characters. Hana on the left is 5, and a red ant (specifically a Colobopsis saundersi). Sirena on the right is 8, and a birb. (She doesn't know her exact species, she has mocking bird in the family, but she's unsure where the exotic colours came from.)

Sirena is highly intelligent and quite stoic and mature for her age, it's often quite easy to forget she's a kid, Hana on the other hand is hyperactive and curious about anything and everything, she has her hands full as a big sister.

Here Sirena is attempting to have a civilised tea party, when Hana gets bored and decides to throw one of the saucers like a frisbee, proclaiming it to be a UFO.

I have the feeling their dad is going to have to buy her a new tea set once this day is done.
