You should! He's seriously the most chill dude, once he pokes his head around his general surroundings (i.e., my lap) he usually just finds the warmest spot and chills. Ball pythons are known for being very relaxed like that, and hey, snakes are extremely easy to care for. 8D I vote yes for snake pets, they rock. x3

Yeah, if i was going to have a pet i'd want something that i don't have to tend to constantly. Not that i would ignore said pet, but like... i'd want to be able to draw too :P
Maybe reptiles are the way to go!

8n8 my first ball python was named crowley

he died two years ago of unknown causes. he was fucking amazing and was SUPER GAY for pockets. he would chill out and let you peel him. he liked the hot concrete around the pool when we cleaned his tubs- but he fucking hated water running out of the hose pipe and would 'stand up' and hiss at it.

I'm sorry to hear about your snake! D8 But omg, ball pythons are so amazing. My Crowly is partial to laps, but he'd probably chill in pockets if his fat ass could fit in any. XD I should make him a special giant pocket. He's got a low immune system so I've spent many a day peeling off whatever he couldn't get himself, so I know how that is. It's actually rather soothing, especially since I know it makes him feel better. x3

I totally got more comments on this than I've ever gotten on anything else. xD I think I'll take some real pictures of my pets, and more of Crowley. 8D My vet commented on his bands too, they've improved a lot as he's gotten older (and fatter, omg).

My ball python's a major wimp :C He's also afraid of the f/t rats, so will only eat mice.

Hahaha, aw, that's kind of cute. x3 Crowley was really skittish for a long time about eating, but finally has started to pick up in that regard. Now when he sees something white and dangly, he gets it in a second. XD Although he does take twice as long to eat things as my other snakes, so I spend a lot of time waiting around for him. >>

Gods yes.... Sergeant takes about an hour to finally eat. In the mean time, my rosy and my candoia have time to swallow two mice each lol. Sarge just... spends a while taking the mouse on a walk through his territory lol.
