"Sometimes known as forest trolls, metsäpeura are in fact fey creatures that appear as a blending between treants and large ogres. Parts of their bodies are covered in bark, with the parts not covered seeming to be polished wood. In lieu of hair, the heads of metsäpeura are adorned with living branches that form leafy crowns. Each metsäpeura has the aspect of a single type of tree. It is from this tree that each metsäpeura takes its name."
