This is actually amazing! It's so good. What's the story behind this one?

Hi, first off, thanks for the fave and for taking interest into it! Really appreciated!!!

Now, get ready for a wall of text because this needs some context: What is happening here is that in my lore, there used to be a race of gods roaming the prehistoric earth, those gods had their own energy manipulation techniques (Or “Magic” for the homies, more specifically what is known as a hard magic system) which they taught humans, eventually, a race of what appeared to be aliens came across earth by accident after tampering with teleportation technology and discovered these gods, they saw their magic, studied it, found ways to use it to power up their own planet which was running low on resources at the time and in a desperate attempt to keep the lights on in their civilization, they managed to capture the gods and use them basically as energy generators, they didn’t enslave or even reveal themselves to humans but they did interfere in their development as they carefully modified their DNA to not be able to use this magic anymore, then they kept an eye on them and some of these supposed aliens even roamed around earth in disguise, changing history as they saw fit for their other unknown purposes.

What they didn’t know is that four of the gods they captured managed to leave “imprints” of their own life essence in some humans, each one of these four gods had a symbol which identified them as being part of a specific family (Think of it as a coat of arms), they were Green Spade, Pink Heart, Red Clover, and Blue Diamond.

Now, these humans that had the imprints from these four gods couldn’t use magic due to the DNA tampering, but the energy that could be extracted from their bodies was the most powerful energy that could be found on earth, and if it is used to cast spells from this specific magic system, it could enhance the power of said spells up to some absurd degrees.
The aliens couldn’t use the magic system since it was designed only to be used by these gods themselves and humans, and while they did spend thousands of years trying to figure out a way to use the magic system themselves, the only thing they could do was to keep using the gods they had captured as an energy source, they were aware of humans with the imprint but they were of little use to them since they had a short life span compared to the gods which were effectively immortal and the amount of energy that could be extracted from them was huge but practically none compared to the amounts they were taking from the gods themselves, this all meant that humans with the imprint were eventually left alone.

Now, during the 1940’s of human history, one of these gods was found trapped inside a sarcophagus, although the device itself couldn’t be opened, humans figured out it was sending energy over to another dimension, which is where the aliens lived, and this is why I called them “Supposed aliens” because despite not being humans themselves, they actually came from the earth of a parallel universe (The definition of “alien” can be debated but I digress), the aliens managed to imprison the gods but couldn’t take them over to their home dimension as they died due to a natural force found there that was lethal to them whenever they crossed over to this other earth, meaning that they had to come up with a way to send energy from our earth to their dimension, which they did by creating these special types of sarcophagus, many years later when they discovered and mastered space travel they wanted to take them out of earth and out of the reach of primitive humans so they wouldn’t stumble into them by accident, they were planning to take some of these trapped gods to the moon or mars but couldn’t since taking them far away from earth would cause their dimension to stop receiving energy from them.

The only sarcophagus that was found was quickly taken away and hidden by a group of humans who were aware of the alien race in earth, they tried to open the device but couldn’t do it in any way, although they did manage to take some DNA of some of the gods from some ancient samples being kept in the same place where this god had been found.
While the aliens easily traced back and recovered the sarcophagus since it was still sending energy over to their dimension, they couldn’t trace the DNA samples of the gods, which were then used by humans in an attempt to clone or replicate them in some way or another, or at least to figure out how to use their magic system again.

After some decades of studying and since they didn’t manage to clone them, the humans developed a serum based on this DNA that would allow them to use the magic system again, although this had a side effect in which it would cause the recipient of the serum to transform into a being similar in appearance to some of these gods, the so called “Hybrids” (Or the anthropomorphic “Furry” animals), luckily, any human injected with the serum could switch between their human and “Hybrid” form at any time, but could only use magic in their Hybrid form, they also found ways to mix this serum with other DNA, specifically from animals, which would transform them into any other species they would like to mix with, all while still being able to use magic.

Now, jump over to the last days of mankind, humans went extinct due to a nuclear war and also because of chemical weapon that was deployed into the atmosphere, if nuclear weapons weren’t enough, this chemical killed every primate-like species on the planet, from gorillas to chimpanzees, humans and even specific types of Hybrids like gorilla or orangutan hybrids.
The only ones to survive were animals, the aliens that were still roaming around but who decided to go back to their own dimension or head out to other planets after earth was destroyed, and the few humans who had been turned into hybrids of non-primate species, which allowed them to be immune to the effects of the chemical weapon, and who also managed to avoid death by nuclear weapons

Over some other thousands of years these surviving hybrids found out they couldn’t reproduce as their human selves and could only do so with other hybrid of the same species (Example: A Hybrid wolf can only reproduce with another hybrid wolf and not with a hybrid tiger), meaning that they were forced to organize themselves into separate groups to be able to survive long enough for earth to be reconstructed.
During the second or third generation of Hybrids, they lost their ability to go back to a human form and were forced to live entirely as their animal hybrid selves.
With all of this background in mind, some of the descendants of the humans who had the imprints from the four gods are still around as Hybrids during the current era of the Hybrid civilization; the magic system the gods had is now widely used and has been a part of the Hybrid culture since its first days, and of course, energy coming from an individual with an imprint is always on high demand, although they are incredibly rare, and those who have been identified are more or less just fifteen in all of earth, there might be more but they haven’t been found yet.

Now, the two wolf characters in this pic, and other two characters depicted in some of the most recent drawings are individuals with these imprints, the two wolves here are Anthony and Spirit, who both have imprints from the Pink Heart and Red Clover families respectively, the bluebird seen here is Kate, she doesn’t have any imprint but does like to kidnap both wolves every once in a while, sometimes to steal some of their powerful energy but most of the times is for the sake of it, Kate likes to tease them a lot and is generally jealous of their relationship, which is why she enjoys humiliating them and overall messing around with them.
Kate was eventually forced by a Druid to kidnap them once more not for fun but because this Druid actually wanted to use them and two other individuals with the Spade and Diamond imprints as an energy source for her own reserves and in order to enhance her magic, which is actually the main plot of the ongoing series I have, and of which I have only been able to post one entry since I am currently busy with college.

And this is basically what happens in the image, I apologize for over extending but I wanted to give the full context, even though I admit this is just a surface level explanation which leaves out many important details of the story and overall plot of the background to my world, some parts of this might even change a bit as I further develop my stories.

Is the sarcophagus system how the "aliens" used to extract the energy from the gods? You mentioned they can't be taken too far away from Earth, right? So they're scattered around the moon or Mars.

Did the aliens manage to capture the gods and extract their energy by force or were the gods willing? If they took it by force, they must have done a really thorough job to not have left any remaining free gods who might try to resist the "aliens"; together with the humans by making a resistance or by rescuing their fellow gods.

Either that or the sarcophagus system is difficult to break. Even then, they can still rally against the "aliens". Why didn't they do so? Maybe the gods were abducted in secrecy?

I really appreciate the kinky setting as a bonus. Came for the kink, stayed for the story. Though I'd love to see more with the cage bondage and such, I don't see much of those on here. ;)

But yeah, that's a really interesting backstory. I like to do some worldbuilding myself too, thought it doesn't include magic. It's just a personal preference.

The aliens had their own energy manipulation techniques / hard magic system unique to them, they captured the gods by force, and since they were just like 30 compared to a whole race of aliens, they were quickly taken over one by one in like a day or two, now, these gods could manipulate reality and had they not been taken by surprise, one or two of them could have actually solo'd the entire alien race, but these alien fellas outsmarted them and basically forced them into submission, and since the gods are immortal (Not technically since some of them died when the aliens tried to take them over to their dimension) they are still alive inside the sarcophagus during the current era, and even then, not even Hybrids or some other friendly and proper alien races from our dimension that have made contact with earth have been able to set them free, even the current day descendants of the "aliens" that captured them have no idea how to open the sarcophagus their ancestors created, some believe they were designed to not be opened at all, and any efforts at breaking them have been useless so far.

As for why the Humans or Hybrids never went against these aliens is because during human times they were either in their own dimension, exploring other planets on our own, or roaming Earth disguised as humans, for prehistoric human civilizations these gods just suddenly disappeared over night and they lost the ability to use their magic for some reason unknown to them, it was just until some years later that some people became aware of the aliens but had no way of proving they existed to fellow humans.
During the Hybrid civilization days this alien race had actually become friendly, it had been some thousands of years between human extinction and the Hybrids taking over earth, and during that time, the aliens had many inner conflicts that resulted in a more pacific and less aggressive mindset on the long run, they now had many other energy sources and their modern day descendants actually felt the need to repair the damage their race had done to humans and Earth overall by aiding the Hybrid civilization to develop, they claimed to have no need for the god's energy anymore but unfortunately and as I mentioned before, they didn't know how to open the sarcophagus, still, many people today believe that its best to not let the gods go free if they do find a way to free them, as being trapped in one place for thousands of years might have caused them to go insane (or stop thinking altogether), and individuals with such powerful reality manipulation powers with these type of conditions could potentially wipe out life in a whole universe.

And of course! There will be many more kinky scenarios coming up, thanks a lot for being interested in the story! As for the worldbuilding, it is really really fun to do, I included magic mainly because I was tired of seeing magic being so strongly tied up to a medieval setting, I personally don't like medieval stuff but have an interest in magic, so my main goal was to take it to a modern day / futuristic setting, which I know has been done before, but the works that do it are like a small 3% compared to the 97% of medieval magic settings.

I'd imagine that quote was spoken by Kate. If she doesn't have an imprint, why would she be assigned a cage too? Unless that cage is just for bondage purposes and doesn't contribute to imprint magical extraction.

Indeed, it was Kate who said that to Spirit, and she was assigned a cage despite not having an imprint because she is basically a servant to the Druid who owns half of her soul, and that is the way she likes to treat her subordinates, whenever they are not doing tasks for her, she likes to keep them in their cages or bound somewhere, and Kate is not the exception.

Ah, okay. Was she originally intended to have an imprint because on your Twitter, it says:
“Hey honey, stop growling and calm down, will you? Look, if it makes you feel any better, I have also been assigned with a cage of my own, and as soon as I can get the fourth one I promise you… All of us will be locked here for a long time”

Yes, she was supposed to have an imprint from the Blue Diamond family at an early stage but that felt out of place since it didn't affect in any way her backstory/plot/development, so I removed it, I wish I could edit the description of the tweets I made since that one is wrong.

If she was, I really like how she would put other in those crow cages and then hop in one herself.

Anyways, how is the energy from the imprint-bearers extracted once they are in the crow cages? How does it affect them? How does it feel for them?

Yeah, Kate is kind of a horny and 100% insane bluebird gal, she will definitely hop on one of those cages without second thoughts, with or without the imprint, the Druid doesn't even have to restrain her most of the time since she will just do it herself.

As for the energy extraction, it works the same for everyone, first off, the magic system used by the hybrids is based on "General Energy" which is basically the life force of an individual (Separated and different from their soul), and coloured energy types, all of which are measured in percentages that go from 0 to 100%, most spells are classified into colours, such as white spells for healing, red spells for physical augmentation, orange spells for summoning, pink spells for mental manipulation, green spells for energy manipulation, among others. Now, an orange spells requires orange energy to work and the same foes for all the spells, although all of them can be used with General Energy, making them a bit stronger, although it isn't recommended to do so since the General Energy represents the vitality of the wearer, and if it goes down to 0% the user dies immediately, if Coloured types of energy go below 100% nothing will happen, although if this happens with General Energy, from 100% to 90% Changes will be hardly noticeable, between 80% to 90% its user will begin to feel extremely tired and exhausted, between 60 % to 80% Headaches, general discomfort, and fatigue will begin to appear, between 40% to 60% Some body functions begin to malfunction, which will include but not be limited to: Physical problems like not having enough energy to stand, severe dehydration and hunger, visual and auditory hallucinations, migraine, among others. Between 20% to 40% The person will faint and fall unconscious, their bodies will begin to consume themselves, immediate replenishment of energy is required for the person to survive, and even if they do get their energy replenished, at this state, they will have to deal with an aftermath, which normally includes high fevers, dizziness and maybe muscular atrophy. Below 20% The body might die, their vital functions will slowly stop, saving a person in this state is really difficult.

Restoring this type of energy naturally works the exact same as healing from a wound or a disease, since this represents the vitality of an individual, it is directly linked to their physical state, but if drained directly, the person it was taken from will just need to rest for a while, normally one or two full days.

Humans have general energy but are not able to use it to cast a spell, unless they become a Hybrid.

General energy as well as the coloured types of energy can be materialized in the shape of pearls that grow in size depending on how much energy it contains, although any pearl with 100% energy will normally fit in the palm of a human palm; to absorb the energy in this pearls, materialize them, or to extract it from either a pearl or a non rational being, Hybrids need to use a spell called "Drain spell", it is one of the 3 spells that doesn't require any type of energy to work, meaning it can be used infinitely and without any limits.

Whoever knows how to use the drain spell can materialize pearls of the energy stored inside their bodies, absorb the energy within those or other pearls, as well as steal it from any non rational living organism since it is just "vitality", meaning it can be taken from plants, animals, bacteria, or any irrational alien species in general.

Now, you can't actually extract energy from an individual with the draining spell or without any method unless you are a Siren or a Druid, which are beings born with the ability to steal either General or coloured types of energy from anyone, rational or not.

How do you take the energy of someone with an imprint or of someone else in general? You can't unless they give it to you as pearls or you get a Siren or a Druid to forcibly take it from them, although in the case of Anthony and Spirit (The two wolves here) They are a Werewolf and a Vampire respectively, meaning that their General energy can be forcibly taken away from them with silver, just place a piece of silver on them, make sure it is making direct contact with their bodies and it will automatically start draining energy from them, then someone else can pick the silver up and use the drain spell to absorb the drained energy for themselves, worth noting that Werewolves and Vampires can't take energy from silver, even if they know the drain spell.

Since they have an imprint, their General energy is way more powerful than that of a normal Hybrid, on top of that, their Werewolf and Vampire conditions also contribute to make it stronger, although only their General energy can be taken with silver, if someone wants coloured energy out of them they would need to buy pearls from them or get a Druid or a Siren to forcibly take it out of them, which is what the Druid that forced Kate to kidnap them wants to do, she wants to keep farming the energy not only from these two, but from other two individuals with the Green Spade and Blue Diamond imprints as well since it will make her overall magic way stronger.

It is worth noticing that Pink coloured magic is produced when two individuals who love each other combine the same percentage of their general energy with the help of the draining spell, the more they love their partner, the more powerful the Pink energy produced by them will be, and the stronger the Pink coloured spell (Mental manipulation spells) casted with it will be.

Anthony and Spirit produce the strongest Pink energy known to have ever existed since they both have an imprint, they have their special Werewolf and Vampire conditions, and have been long time lovers, there are people who live off selling General energy or coloured types of energy, and these two could easily live off selling the Pink energy they produce, or any other types of energy they make for that matter since they have an imprint and a special condition.

Will the gods ever be released or is that spoilers?

Some of the Hybrids worship them more or less and want to set them free, although the debate of whether they should be released or not it is one of the points of conflict in my lore, because even if they figure out how to set them free, no one knows how they will react, they might be senile, maybe they stopped thinking, or maybe they went insane and there is a chance they might just blink the planet away or go on a rampage.

Some think their descendants, that is, people from the four families of spade, heart, clover, and diamond hold the key to releasing them in their genes, although this hasn't been proved as no one has managed to take one of them to one of the sarcophagus yet, or at least that we know of. Nevertheless, there is an ongoing conflict among those who want to set the Gods free and those who want to stop that from happening, the descendants of the four families just happened to get stuck in-between this conflict.

Rose and Blake hadn't been considered at this point, tho they ended up being easier to capture than those other 2.
