No, it's not a "fan thing" - none of my characters were based off or are homages to any of his. I like Faint's art, but he's not the only one who draws more-human anthros, nor did he create the style. I was drawing more human-like faces on anthro characters long before I joined FA or discovered his art - so were people like Katsu and Ariakitty.
