"Kaga no Chiyo (AUTUMN):
Through the window I see
the autumn wind
resounds in the mountain—
temple bell...
....
Masaoka Shiki (SPRING):
Through the window I see
this lone iris
white
in spring twilight..."
"Madokara Mieru" - Corner Stone Cues
For my beloved sister and dearest friend, Snowwolfmystic~ <3
Words cannot express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks for having her share something with me that has made our bond all the more strong. There aren't enough words in the human language to say how much I love her and how blessed I am to have her as family. Here is to many more years to come of laughter, joy, and companionship. <3
For everyone else, just enjoy it for what it is~ :D

Indeed, but look at the difference between today's tattoo's (American style, and others) and traditional Japanese tattoo's.
I dont think i could take the Traditional one, looks far too painful, but who knows might be the same.
I have had a tattoo gun used on me and that hurt at first but it went numb after a minute so and i kinda tuned it out (Happy place Happy place)

Enjoy it for what it is? But what is it, truly?
It's a picture made in an Asian style, depicting two animals circling each other. Though there are claws out and sharply pointed, I don't really get a sense of enmity between the two... more a showing of power and grace. There does seem to be a bit of affection between the two, though....
All in all, I think it's a rather lovely picture, though I might be missing out on the true meaning of it.

I love Okami so much, one of the best games I've played in a loooooong time~
And the Sumi-E style is just so clean and simple yet complicated, if that makes any kind of sense. XD But I fell in love with the idea of doing brush work, and bam, here is the result!
