I'm typically another grumpy comic purist but I honestly ended up loving rise. If you're a fan of the mirage-2k3 side of the franchise they rework a lot of the original lore in a way that's creative & fun but still in a way an older fan can appreciate and feel seen from. I seriously recommend giving it a second chance if you haven’t already, it’s so much better than the initial impressions made it seem.
