yet another page from my comic :B
this page was done 100% under the influence of ILLNESS. blerk. as soon as i could sit up and hold a pen steady, i was working on it.
i tried something different with the watercolours here - put them on before i went around to markering in the characters. this seemed to help out with depth of field a lot. the markers can easily colour overtop of watercolours without it effecting them really, so i could colour right up to the edge of and into the characters without worrying about ruining the markers (which is not the case if i marker first). this to me added to a smoother looking background in general, and more depth of field.
basicly there's less of an accidental no-paint 'halo' zone around the characters. i dunno, maybe only art nerds notice stuff like that.
the script is a little clunky, but i'm still sick and writing a script while your brain is gunked up with goo isn't easy.

woosh, all this is right over my head. all i know is the person who showed me it was all obsessed about that kira character, and kira just seemed like a whiny sociopath to me.
if i want to watch a sociopath, i'll watch dr. lecter in silence of the lambs. at least he's a COOL one.
