I had a project in my printing class that required printing on paper other than white, so I found this nice blue-grey paper. I had a bit left over when I was done though, so I've been thinking of doing something with it. I rarely do any art on anything other than white sketchbook paper, so it was something I wanted to try.

One of the strips I cut away was just the right size for bookmarks, and since I've never done those either, this is what came about! Four mythical creatures in the theme of the elements, done in fiddly little detail that focuses on texture.

(if you guys didn't know already, I'm crazy when it comes to pen and ink work)

I'm thinking of offering these for sale, either as prints or originals, so do inquire if you're interested. I can laminate them or leave them as is. I have a hole punch, some colored ribbon, and other bits, so I'm up for fancy-ing these up as well.
