The striped skirmisher may be one of the cuter members of the gog family but don't be fooled! They are not to be trifled with. Despite weighing in at around 10 - 15lbs, skirmies can climb fast as greased lightning, leap 10ft, and their teeth are razor sharp. They are highly aggressive and skilled combatants, though, their first line of defense is an earsplitting shriek-rattle that tends to frighten away any would be contenders. Skirmies have been witnessed leaping or dropping onto the faces of larger predators and shrieking right into their ears while biting and clawing at them. If that fails to work, skirmies will often go for the throat. With razor-sharp teeth, the ability to open their jaws 110°, and a biteforce strong enough to break bone, this can be fatal, even for creatures as large as gryphons or human beings. Again, not to be trifled with!
Skirmies are omnivorous and gregarious with fully opposable thumbs, retractile claws, and prehensile tails. They are easily tamable and domesticable but do not make great pets as they are highly curious, mischievous, destructive, and have a tendency to attack anyone outside their pack.
