i'm kind of a self taught, i used photographies to learn how to draw, and i've only had few base teaching (from an extremely annoying weeaboo) about anime anatomy and then watched a small tutorial of how to draw fur (which i only learnt the first part about clumps)

the fur on a fox's tail is way darker than the rest, with a particular scent gland located shortly after it's base, whose it's position is marked by an even darker spot of fur
