As some of you know, I work in the live entertainment industry as a stage lighting technician. Unfortunately, I've been out of work since around the middle of March, and as of right now, I won't be going back to work until at least January. It sucks, but at least I've been trying to keep myself busy. One of the things I've been doing with my time is playing around with a beta version of the next major software update for the lighting console I use at work. One of the biggest features of this update is the addition of a 3D programming environment, allowing users to use a virtual model of their systems to program a show without being in the physical space.
For this piece, I put together a light show to the tune of one of my favorite classic rock songs, "Come Sail Away" by Styx. You can find the full video here: https://youtu.be/BKhgY1QWqaw
