A frontal "spear" meant to act as a ram against other airship to puncture their 'balloon'. Otherwise a personal or heraldic flag is usually flown upon it.
Normally meant to land at a dock, it can deploy a tripod-like series of legs to touch down on ground. Though one leg is part of the back fin assembly the other two hinge from the front assembly and offer a degree of flexibility.
Part of the frontal assembly has in the hull has two port hole relatively forward. This is part of a small room for the look out how keeps in contact with the bridge to aid in steering the shipping, especially in more narrow surroundings and in combat/evasion.
