Lord of The Sun (Original sold on Patreon)
Every August I like to paint a lion for World Lion Day.
I've also had a bit of a block during this pandemic, and doing this portrait was really fun.
Painted with watercolor (including genuine piemontite, bronzite and bloodstone), some acrylic highlights, colored pencil and genuine gold leaf.
The original has sold to one of my Patrons over at Patreon. Patrons get first dibs on original artworks.
