OH ok so it's that sequence. Yea I haven't played SoC in such a long time, much farther than CoP for sure. Now I think about it yea I remember the Monolith base within that area too!

I knew it was Pripyat cause even in the last game, when you return to the city you always end up leaving from a pothole next to some playground or flat ground area.

Well, yes) But of course, screenshots from the game and screenshots from Google maps helped me a lot, I decided to determine the exact direction to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from Pripyat, so this frame is topographically reliable XD

Awesome!
Today is, Arkady Strugatsky 95th birthday. He along with his younger brother, Boris Strugatsky wrote the novel, Roadside Picnic which became the inspiration for the game series STALKER. If anyone hasn't read, Roadside Picnic, I say you should. It's a classic novel.
