Another fantastic commission by  Dragon_Kai Looks like Etrius needs a haircut.


It was that time of the month again, time for Etrius and his siblings to get a hair cut. Once a month on a Saturday, Anthony and Karen would take Etrius, Nathan, Kevin and Sarah to get haircuts. Anthony would take the boys to his local barber who he had been going to since he was a boy and Karen would take Sarah to the Beauty Salon.

The barber shop the boys went to was called ‘Washington’s Barber’ and it had been around since the 1950’s. The shop changed over the decades, but the employees remained the same. Every time Anthony and the boys entered the shop, they were greeted happily. The barbers would take the boys to their usual stations and sit them down.

The barbers would then put the haircut capes around them. The capes that the barbers used would cover their entire necks and were little tight around them as well to make sure no hair go on their backs.

Etrius loved getting a haircut because he liked to talk to the barbers about his week. Whenever the Music played, he would nod his head from side-to-side to go with the songs. Etrius also talked with his siblings, even though he couldn’t turn his head while he was getting a trim. After his hair was cut, the barbers would give it a nice shampoo, rinse and dry.

After they were done, Anthony would take a picture of the boys together with their new hairdos. The boys would thank the barbers, then leave the shop, knowing they’d be back in a month for their next haircut.
