I mentioned her awhile back when Sally first passed, not sure if anyone remembers, heh.
My mom was kind enough to upload a pic of her on FaceBook today and thanks to it, I now have a picture of her that I can show you all! isn't she gorgeous? ^.^
The short version of the story is that me and my mate, Pookin, almost ran her over as she was crossing the street while we were on our way out to dinner. Since my mom was also out and about near the vicinty of the park where we had our near-miss, I implored her to go check for her and make sure she hadn't tried to cross the street again. Sure enough ... she was so sweet and friendly, she came right to her and she ended up bringing her home. XD
At the time we found her, Sally was still very ill and we had every intention of fostering her until we could find her a new home, but ... after Sally's unexpected passing, my mom and I bonded with Tammy SO much and fondly remembered how much Sally also liked her. We thought the very best way of honoring Sally's memory was to give Tammy the same loving family she was lucky enough to have. We feel very strongly that we have her blessing with this decision. =3
As much as we helped her, she's been helping us JUST as much, if not more. Her sense of empathy, playful antics, and sweet face have been an enormous comfort as we've struggled to heal past our loss. I'm very grateful to my new little sister and I love her with ALL my heart. I'd do anything for her. ^.^
So, yep ... here's our lil' sweety. Admire and be in awe of her cuteness! Sometime soon, I'm gonna start uploading videos of her onto my YouTube, because as mind-blowingly cute as she is here, pictures don't do her cuteness justice. She has to be seen to be believed. XD
