When has "furries" become a term for anthros?

furry has been coined as the interest in anthropomorphics, even things that don't have fur.

What truly pisses me off is how desperate is to include things such as liking Looney Tunes or Disney as a "furry thing".

I believe it's up to the individual as how they decide to identify themselves.

Because good God, talk about a contrast! If the sneak peak is to be believed, it has the most disturbing mix of bland art and pictures taken from DeviantArt I've seen until now. At least the art on the book above had a stable artist.

I was tolerable about his earlier books; heck, I even learned a bit from the ones about CARTOONING, since that's his obvious forte. I even own one of the books about edgy comic book anatomy (http://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Cutti.....ref=pd_sim_b21) because it's actually helpful.

I've never seen such blatant attempt to cash in from a fandom since his introduction of the how-to manga books...

I good book that I have is manga for the begginer http://www.amazon.com/Manga-Beginne.....687&sr=1-1 . This book not only teaches basics in scale and style, but it acutaly shows how one can make one's art look more profesional. That, and it has an amazing anthro section that doesn't show fanservice at all, just how to draw some basic ones.
