souls are the main thing that sort of appears in the void of universes. they are what we and other creatures are made of. there are two types of souls. one or normal souls the other are beast souls protective souls that are created for unknown reasons. they sort of resemble god but are small than him. and in the series there are these other metal orb that mimic the souls but if they run out of energy they turn back into metal balls. these things are called false orbs or ironically metal orbs. they come in all different colors some resembling the soul and beast souls. there are red silver golden and purple. these are created by Xin. he uses them to his advantage to take over the universes and the void. when they are defeated, they being to rust and desterilize. when our characters are intro duce to these and the souls they begin to discover more about them and their origins.
